Prized for its durability, and incredibly interesting grain, Olivewood is one of the most unique and gorgeous modern timbers.
The Olivewood is shaped using a bentwood method; steambending the timber and wrapping it along the circumference of the ring. This makes for a unique aesthetic, and provides a very strong substrate for the timber.
Due to the nature of steambending, there is a seam where the timber laps over itself.
This design is paired with polished black Tungsten Carbide for utmost durability, and a modern style.
Each ring is handmade by me, on the western slope of Colorado.
All tungsten rings with inlays are sealed with Titanium Aircraft Adhesive, and each ring is sealed in lustrous water resistant finish. Finally the rings are polished with beeswax.
