The antler for this wedding ring comes from natural sheds on the Grand Mesa, the largest mesa in the world, here on the western slope of Colorado.
As each wearer is unique, so is each piece of antler.
Antler's grain runs from dark black marrow to white flecks of bone. I seal each piece of antler in a vacuum with acrylic resin to make them as water proof, as durable, and as strong as possible. They are then finished with pressurized marine epoxy.
The wide centered inlay of antler is paired with the hardest modern metal available for jewelry; Tungsten Carbide.
I finished this design with brushed, and sandblasted finish to give it a smooth feel, and a rustic rugged aesthetic.
